Paws and Hogs Animal Rescue

Through sheltering and adoption services, basic veterinary treatment, education about animal care, and advocacy for the creation and enforcement of animal abuse laws, the Union County Humane Society works to advance animal welfare.

A 501(c)3 organization called the Humane Society of Cherokee County was founded with the mission of preserving the lives of unwanted and abandoned animals in the county.

The Cherokee County Animal Shelter attempts to reunite lost and found, surrendered, and stray animals with their owners.

Although they are three separate organizations, Cherokee County Animal Control, the Cherokee County Animal Shelter, and the Humane Society of Cherokee County collaborate.
