Canine Partners Program

A Basset hound rescue organization called Droopy is committed to the welfare of the breed. DBHR is run entirely by volunteers who locate homes for Basset hounds that have been abandoned or given up.

In Waterford, Pennsylvania, there is an animal shelter called French Creek Animal Rescue. We scavenge abandoned animals, provide them with shelter, food, and medical care before adopting them into devoted, lifelong families.

The mission of Because You Care, Inc. (BYC) is the rescue, care, and placement of stray and abandoned animals.

In order to create a safe haven for their community's lost, abandoned, and unwanted animals, fifteen compassionate citizens banded together in 1952. After twenty years of effective operation as a foster network, the company was able to construct the new site on Kennedy Hill Road. To better serve the community, the Crawford County Humane Society keeps growing its building and offering more services.
