Gibson County Animal Shelter

Dedicated to networking and saving dogs and cats from our neighborhood high kill shelter, Saving The Animals Together (S.T.A.T. We're asking you to assist us in rescuing these animals from the death row.

The services for rabies control include coordinating rabies vaccination clinics for animals across Madison County and enforcing Tennessee anti-rabies legislation pertaining to small animal management.

We are a municipal shelter with managed intake that collaborates with Animal Control to make Jackson a great environment for both people and their pets. We do not put animals to death because "their time is done" or due to lack of space, but we rely largely on the support of the local community and our rescue partners to make this mission attainable.

In Weakley County, Tennessee, there is a rustic, open-air, charity animal refuge called Red Fern Animal Shelter.

In McKenzie, West Tennessee, there is a NO-KILL animal shelter called the Carroll County Humane Society. (Neither do we restrict the amount of time an animal may stay at our shelter, nor do we euthanize animals to free up room.)
