Stray dogs and cats from Bradford and Sullivan Counties are housed at BCHS.

Our goal is to save lives by fostering a community that encourages the human-animal bond through outreach, education, and advocacy, the adoption of healthy dogs and cats into loving homes, spaying and neutering to end the suffering of overpopulation and to improve public health, and the humane and compassionate treatment of all animals.

Based in Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, we are a small, nonprofit organization made up entirely of volunteers. We are the county's oldest animal protection organization, having been formed in 1985.

Locally owned and operated True Friends is dedicated to becoming a no-kill animal shelter. aAs if they were their own pets, our staff and volunteers adore our dogs and cats.

To offer compassionate, no-kill sanctuaries for the veterinary treatment and rehabilitation of stray and vulnerable animals.

We rescue animals from shelters that are scheduled for euthanasia as a 501c3 Nonprofit Organization. Animals that have been abandoned or are unwanted are also taken in by us. As a no-kill rescue, we are! All of our animals have been completely vetted, spayed or neutered, and chipped.
