A committed group of animal lovers got together in the spring of 2003 to talk about the potential for establishing and operating a no-kill animal shelter in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. We established a board of directors, became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization by year's end, and started organizing and raising money to construct the shelter.
