1. Trailways to Heaven Animal Rescue

We rescue animals from shelters that are scheduled for euthanasia as a 501c3 Nonprofit Organization. Animals that have been abandoned or are unwanted are also taken in by us. As a no-kill rescue, we are! All of our animals have been completely vetted, spayed or neutered, and chipped.

2. Ninna's Road to Rescue, Benton, Louisiana

Our goal is to rescue and rehome small-breed dogs in particular. The majority of the animals we have come from kill shelters in Northwest Louisiana. We also take in a lot of breeder dogs that are retiring.

A county-run facility, Marshall County Animal Care and Control, accepts abandoned cats and dogs.

5. Help Cat & Animals Charity Sanctuary

We are a privately funded charitable foundation where feral cats, cats with behavioral problems, and cats near the end of their lives can find a home. We are a permanent shelter, and the majority of our residents are unable to be adopted because of behavioral or medical issues.
