The goal of P.A.W.S. Animal Adoption Center is to care for stray dogs and cats until they may be adopted into long-term, responsible homes while fostering humane attitudes in our neighborhood through outreach and educational initiatives.

Every dog up for adoption deserves to live in a loving, caring, and responsible family, as is the unwavering goal of Underhound Railroad. a house where they won't experience mistreatment, squandering, or stupidity.

With facilities in Brunswick and Edgecomb, Maine, Midcoast Humane (previously Coastal Humane Society and Lincoln County Animal Shelter) provides care and adoption services for 3,500 stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals annually.

An all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) cat rescue and rehabilitation group, A Paw in the Door. We work in our neighborhood to give homeless cats a safe haven, care, foster homes, and adopted homes.

We think that by fostering the link between animals and people, we can build a kinder society. Our goal is to improve lives by finding adoptive homes for animals so they can flourish in an environment of kindness and care.

A humane, nonprofit organization called Maine Greyhound Placement Service is committed to helping retired racing Greyhounds who are unable to compete on racetracks find caring, responsible homes.
