The Terre Haute Humane Society is committed to advancing animal welfare and alleviating suffering by offering temporary shelter, community outreach and education programs, quality-of-life-based care, adoption, and spay and neuter services.

Clay County's CCHS offers shelter to stray and unwanted cats and dogs. Every animal brought into our shelter is looked after until it is adopted. We don't kill animals to make room.

The PVCHS is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the importance of animal population control by promoting spaying and neutering, the humane treatment of all animals, and the prevention of cruelty to animals.

Devoted spreading awareness among the general public about the necessity of animal management by promoting spaying and neutering, the humane treatment of all animals, the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of animal suffering, and the importance of education.

Despite its financial struggles, the HSPC persevered and now serves the community by helping to rehabilitate and place unwanted or abandoned animals in need of loving homes.

Spay/neuter vouchers for up to two animals per household per year will be available at the Rescued Treasures retail location from the Humane Society of Putnam County.
