Animal Control

Our goal is to provide a loving haven with wholesome food and veterinary treatment for dogs and cats, as well as a temporary residence for those who can be adopted or given to rescue organizations. Our company works hard to provide a safe sanctuary for dogs and cats who are up for adoption at our dog and cat shelter in Sumter, South Carolina. Come see us if you're thinking about adopting a dog or a cat.

Animals are not picked up by our SPCA. Through the City-County Animal Control Department, the service of collecting up stray animals is offered.

The shelter and Friends of Lee County collaborate to save as many animals as possible.

To provide shelter and protection for the unwanted and abandoned animals in Clarendon County, to make adoptions easier, to encourage population control through spay and neuter initiatives, and to inform the local community about how to care for animals.

There is no need for an appointment to visit the Kershaw County Humane Society at 128 Black River Road in Camden, South Carolina, to tour the facility or see the animals that are up for adoption. The organization is committed to the care of homeless and neglected animals through action, compassion, and education.
