To run an animal shelter, provide for the humane treatment of animals, and work to place them in long-term homes through adoption or owner reunion; to promote the humane treatment of animals by kindness and appropriate care.

A 501(c)3 non-profit and no-kill animal sanctuary is called Just Animals Shelter. We do not receive any money from the government or tax payers.

The Livingston County Humane Society's (LCHS) goal is to find each animal that comes to us a safe, devoted home. We also advocate for compassionate pet care.

Through our care center, foster homes, and veterinarian resources, Illinois Valley Animal Rescue's aim is to rescue, care for, and comfort abused, neglected, and homeless animals in the Illinois Valley Area.

Enables the care of lost, abused, or abandoned animals in Grundy County. enforces local and state regulations regarding domestic animals. gives the public information on the canines and felines that live in the county.
