Our Mission is to Maintain the Family Pet with the Loved Family

A 501(c)3 non-profit and no-kill animal sanctuary is called Just Animals Shelter. We do not receive any money from the government or tax payers.

To run an animal shelter, provide for the humane treatment of animals, and work to place them in long-term homes through adoption or owner reunion; to promote the humane treatment of animals by kindness and appropriate care.

Enables the care of lost, abused, or abandoned animals in Grundy County. enforces local and state regulations regarding domestic animals. gives the public information on the canines and felines that live in the county.

Since 1984, our non-profit 501(c)(3) organization has provided animal welfare services to the Bloomington-Normal neighborhood and its environs. We take care of, house, and assist with adoptions for animals in need of permanent homes.
