Grundy County Animal Central Center

A 501(c)3 non-profit and no-kill animal sanctuary is called Just Animals Shelter. We do not receive any money from the government or tax payers.

To run an animal shelter, provide for the humane treatment of animals, and work to place them in long-term homes through adoption or owner reunion; to promote the humane treatment of animals by kindness and appropriate care.

As Will County's first no-kill shelter, we've been serving the community for more than 40 years with the single goal of giving homeless animals a safe haven and assisting in their search for a forever home.

The Humane Society of Plainfield, which is now known as Help Save Pets, was first established in 2000. Since then, we have found loving homes for more than 16,000 animals.

Through education and quality sheltering, adoption, and pet placement programs, Joliet Township Animal Control promotes and protects public safety.

A team of committed volunteers established The Bone Yard Animal Rescue in February 2014 with the goal of improving the lives of homeless, abused, and abandoned animals.
