Routt County Humane Society

In May 2002, The Humane Society of Moffat County was established. The Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is run entirely by volunteers. We are not a part of any local, state, or federal organizations, and neither do we own or run the Craig Animal Shelter.

In order to support the Grand County Animal Shelter's spay/neuter program and prevent the euthanasia of adoptable animals, Grand County Pet Pals (GCPP), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded in 1993.

With the goal of maintaining a safe neighborhood where we encourage responsible pet ownership through outreach, education, and enforcement, Animal Services offers care and shelter to stray animals in need.

We are entirely made up of volunteers. There is more to our facilities than meets the eye.

For abandoned and stray animals in the Estes Park region, we provide refuge and veterinary care, inc.

Putting into action the highest standards of animal care, advocacy, and education to reunite pets with their owners.
