Safe Cat Foundation

Since 1874, the East Bay SPCA has provided aid to missing, injured, and abandoned animals! We provide services in Dublin and Oakland for the counties of Alameda and Contra Costa.

At East Bay Animal Rescue & Refuge (EBARR), our goal is to lessen animal mistreatment and stop more animals from winding up in shelters. We never discriminate against breed or size since we believe in the health and wellbeing of all animals.

To protect life and property and to enforce civil and criminal laws while respecting the rights of all; recognizing the diversity of the community served and delivering consistent and humane treatment to those under our care.

The Hayward Animal Shelter accepts stray dogs and schedules appointments for animals that have been owner-rendered in the Hayward City. We frequently have dogs, cats, and rabbits up for adoption, as well as other small animals on occasion. Please stop by the shelter in person to fill out a lost pet report if you are looking for an animal.

We are a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers that is committed to saving, fostering, and rehoming companion animals in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Tri-City Animal Shelter, which houses animals from Fremont, Union City, and Newark, is run by the Animal Services Unit of the Fremont Police Department. Animal Services Officers in Union City and Newark respond to complaints about animals in their respective cities.
