Hayward Animal Shelter

We are a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers that is committed to saving, fostering, and rehoming companion animals in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since 1874, the East Bay SPCA has provided aid to lost, injured, and abandoned animals! We provide services in Dublin and Oakland for the counties of Alameda and Contra Costa.

A nonprofit dedicated to saving animals in Northern California, WOOF Animal Rescue is 100% volunteer-run. WOOF has successfully placed many dogs in great forever homes after rescuing them from high-kill shelters with the aid of our volunteers.

"Ohlone Humane Society works to promote empathy and respect for all animals, protect their rights and welfare, and instill in our neighborhood the idea that all living things have a right to be treated humanely.

The Tri-City Animal Shelter, which houses animals from Fremont, Union City, and Newark, is run by the Animal Services Unit of the Fremont Police Department. Animal Services Officers in Union City and Newark respond to complaints about animals in their respective cities.

The foundation of the Safe Cat Foundation is the belief that all cats should be saved. We don't choose which cats to take out of shelters based on "standards" or "criteria." Not because they are young or cute, but because we believe cats should survive, we pull them.
