Cressie Animal Refuge and Enrichment (CARE)

Since 1952, the San Antonio Humane Society (SAHS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit no-kill organization, has provided services to Bexar County and the communities around it.

The Animal Defense League, a nonprofit group founded in 1934, is a real no-kill shelter for dogs and cats who have been abandoned, mistreated, or neglected.

Our fourfold aim is to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome, and promote responsibility among pet owners by rescuing animals from high-kill shelters and the community.

The mission of Wildlife Rescue is to help people understand that they are a part of a large community of living things, to feel gratitude and respect for that community, and to act more appropriately and compassionately.

Poquita Paws Rescue's goals include promoting responsible pet ownership and saving small dogs from kill shelters and the community.
