Our fourfold aim is to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome, and promote responsibility among pet owners by rescuing animals from high-kill shelters and the community.

Poquita Paws Rescue's goals include promoting responsible pet ownership and saving small dogs from kill shelters and the community.

We are a no-kill shelter for animals. Visit our 12-acre site in San Antonio and the Paul Jolly Center for Pet Adoptions to see the amazing dogs and cats that are waiting to complete your family.

No other animal shows us as unwavering, trusting, and forgiving love as a rescue dog. Every day I see that love in action. When rescue dog adopters see their pup in person, I can see it in their eyes.

The mission of Wildlife Rescue is to help people understand that they are a part of a large community of living things, to feel gratitude and respect for that community, and to act more appropriately and compassionately.

Since 1952, the San Antonio Humane Society (SAHS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit no-kill organization, has provided services to Bexar County and the communities around it.
