Salina Animal Services

The purpose of the McPherson Animal Shelter is to encourage responsible pet ownership, ensure public health and safety, provide education and effective enforcement, and offer timely and courteous service to our clients.

A 501(c)3 non-profit, the McPherson County Humane Society was founded. We give abandoned and unwanted cats food, shelter, medical attention, and love until a permanent home can be found.

We are a city-run animal shelter that helps the public with stray turn-ins and surrenders from our area when space permits. To deal with the stray cat populations in our esteemed cities, we have three TNR programs. Outside our building, we have a pet pantry where customers can get supplies as needed.

A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization run entirely by volunteers, Clay County Animal Rescue & Education Center (CCARE) is committed to saving, fostering, and placing homeless dogs in loving and responsible forever homes.

We help the people of Fort Riley find their missing pets and place abandoned and unclaimed animals for adoption.

A network of volunteers known as Purple Power Animal Welfare Society is committed to rescuing and enhancing the lives of stray dogs and cats in Kansas and elsewhere.
