Clay County Animal Rescue & Education Center, Inc.

A network of volunteers known as Purple Power Animal Welfare Society is committed to rescuing and enhancing the lives of stray dogs and cats in Kansas and elsewhere.

We are a city-run animal shelter that helps the public with stray turn-ins and surrenders from our area when space permits. To deal with the stray cat populations in our esteemed cities, we have three TNR programs. Outside our building, we have a pet pantry where customers can get supplies as needed.

We help the people of Fort Riley find their missing pets and place abandoned and unclaimed animals for adoption.

An all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill animal rescue group committed to animal welfare, the Riley County Humane Society was founded in January 1975. No national animal welfare organization, United Way, or the government ever give us money.

To offer the neighborhood's animals expert animal services. We work hard to encourage responsible pet ownership and animal management in our neighborhood and to teach in the public a proper respect for the welfare of all animals.

For Saline County, the Salina Animal Shelter offers animal control and adoption services.
