Salem Animal Control

Since the establishment of our organization in 2007, contacts have been made with numerous rescue organizations. Every week, rescue organizations across the region receive shipments of dogs and cats.

The Paoli, Indiana, home of the Orange County Humane Society. Our goal is to operate a no-kill shelter. We collaborate with a number of no-kill rescues.

In Jackson County, Indiana, we operate a charity pet foster family network. We assist local pet owners with pet rehoming, rescue, and rehabilitation. While utilizing all available resources to locate suitable new housing, we offer health care and secure refuge.

A small group of dedicated volunteers form the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization Great Babies Rescue, which is dedicated to addressing the issue of abused and abandoned dogs.

First and foremost, we are public servants to the Harrison County community. We are an animal shelter and have provided animal control services to our community since 2005."a
