Critter Adoption and Rescue Effort (CARE)

Our goal has remained to keep animals out of the county shelter over the years. We coordinate, support, and take part in clinics that provide microchipping and low-cost or free spay and neuter procedures.

Manatee County Animal Services' goals include promoting responsible pet ownership, encouraging adoptions, and reducing pet overpopulation while upholding public health and safety through the enforcement of animal-related laws and ordinances.

Our goal is to save animals from euthanasia who might otherwise have to wait too long, be sick, suffer an injury, or lack socialization and training.

The 501(C)(3) non-profit Gulf Shore Animal League, which is entirely staffed by volunteers, is committed to growing the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs in Manatee County in order to make the dream of having a No-Kill neighborhood a reality.

We commit our lives to their preservation and strive to foster a welcoming, family-friendly environment that fosters a connection between our animals and the people who care for them.

Adoptions of pets are handled in the order they are received. When you visit the shelter, it's conceivable that an animal on the list has already been adopted.
