The Humane Society of Manatee County is dedicated to saving lives one animal at a time.

The 501(C)(3) non-profit Gulf Shore Animal League, which is entirely staffed by volunteers, is committed to growing the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs in Manatee County in order to make the dream of having a No-Kill neighborhood a reality.

The goal of Forget-Me-Not is to save the lives of difficult-to-place pets, including those impounded in kill shelters in Bradenton and Sarasota who are at risk of being put to death as well as stray animals in the neighborhood.

It is a no-kill adoption center committed to placing cats, dogs, and small animals in loving homes.

Prior to the adoption, we require a background check, home visit, and vet reference to make sure our dogs are placed in the ideal loving home.a
