Adoptions of pets are handled in the order they are received. When you visit the shelter, it's conceivable that an animal on the list has already been adopted.

Prior to the adoption, we require a background check, home visit, and vet reference to make sure our dogs are placed in the ideal loving home.a

The goal of Forget-Me-Not is to save the lives of difficult-to-place pets, including those impounded in kill shelters in Bradenton and Sarasota who are at risk of being put to death as well as stray animals in the neighborhood.

It is a no-kill adoption center committed to placing cats, dogs, and small animals in loving homes.
