Ohio County Animal Shelter

To better the lives of unwanted and abandoned animals by offering a secure and compassionate shelter, encouraging successful adoptions, educating pet owners, and reducing the number of animals in Dearborn County by supporting spay/neuter programs.

A private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization called the Ripley County Humane Society runs a NO KILL animal shelter. Donations, adoption fees, grants, and memorials all help to support us.

We offer the community adoption and lost dog services in addition to compassionate care for impounded animals at the shelter.

The Fayette County Animal Shelter offers assistance with pet adoption and homecoming for stray animals. Our passion is for animals, and we will do everything in our power to care for the animals in our neighborhood.

Since the establishment of our organization in 2007, contacts have been made with numerous rescue organizations. Every week, rescue organizations across the region receive shipments of dogs and cats.
