Animal Shelter

Since the establishment of our organization in 2007, contacts have been made with numerous rescue organizations. Every week, rescue organizations across the region receive shipments of dogs and cats.

A private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization called the Ripley County Humane Society runs a NO KILL animal shelter. Donations, adoption fees, grants, and memorials all help to support us.

A tiny building with a big heart! A no-kill, non-profit, county-funded organization, The Ohio County Shelter and Control has been serving our community for more than 20 years.

We are dedicated to saving as many lives as we can and offer temporary shelter for animals, lost and found services, adoptions, and guidance on the health and behavior of animals.

To better the lives of unwanted and abandoned animals by offering a secure and compassionate shelter, encouraging successful adoptions, educating pet owners, and reducing the number of animals in Dearborn County by supporting spay/neuter programs.

Animals that are homeless, abandoned, or whose owners are unable to care for them are saved by our organization. While we work to find our furry friends forever homes, we offer shelter and veterinary care.
