Franklin County Small Animal

The Fayette County Animal Shelter offers assistance with pet adoption and homecoming for stray animals. Our passion is for animals, and we will do everything in our power to care for the animals in our neighborhood.

To better the lives of unwanted and abandoned animals by offering a secure and compassionate shelter, encouraging successful adoptions, educating pet owners, and reducing the number of animals in Dearborn County by supporting spay/neuter programs.

The Rushville Animal Shelter offers residents of Rush County's unincorporated towns animal control services as well as a secure home for stray or unwanted animals.

A private, non-profit 501(c)3 organization called the Ripley County Humane Society runs a NO KILL animal shelter. Donations, adoption fees, grants, and memorials all help to support us.

A no-kill shelter is run by HELP the Animals, Inc. (Humane Existence for Lost Pets), which gives lost or abandoned dogs and cats—who are occasionally victims of cruelty, abuse, and/or neglect—a place to live.

We are appreciative of the kind fostering families who welcome homeless cats into their hearts and homes.
