Humane Society Animal League

We currently offer sanctuary for stray animals, and we're moving, transitioning, and expanding to give more animals a home and create more opportunities to find permanent and foster homes.

The Jessamine Humane Society is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization committed to eradicating pet overpopulation and safeguarding all animals from abuse and exploitation.

We provide a No Kill Mission to make sure that adoptable animals find a Forever Home. No Kill Central is a 501c3 non profit NO KILL animal sanctuary.

Animal control and county animal shelter functions are performed by the Garrard County Animal Shelter.

Give citizens of Jessamine County services that protect their health, whether they have two legs or four. We treat the animals under our care with compassion and take steps to prevent abuse and neglect of the animals that are not.
