Lee County Humane Society

Lee County Humane Society was established in 1974 to address the expanding issue of stray animals in our neighborhood. In 1976, LCHS purchased land along Highway 280, where the shelter now resides. The community-run, volunteer-run organization was able to hire staff and eventually start expanding the facilities thanks to donations and volunteer work.
