Pennsville's stray dogs and cats are taken in by the Pennsville Animal Shelter.

We are animal lovers who spend the majority of our time providing shelter, medical attention, love, and protection from unwholesome, dangerous, or suspect environments for animals.

An all-volunteer non-profit 501c3 organization called Maddie & Friends is committed to lowering the amount of abandoned animals by providing spay/neuter services. We also locate suitable homes for stray animals.

to give food, shelter, and care for feral, stray, and homeless cats. to inform the public of the value of population control through spaying and neutering, responsible pet ownership, and animal kindness. In order to accomplish these objectives, an ongoing community network should be established.

The Gloucester County Animal Shelter (GCAS) opened its doors for business in July 1990 with the completion of the Animal Shelter building in Clayton, under the direction of the Gloucester County Board of Commissioners, with advice from the Animal Shelter Advisory Committee and the County Health Department.
