Dogs and cats are not killed at Heartland Humane Society. Our goal is to educate the public about how to properly care for animals, promote neuter and spay campaigns, and offer temporary shelter and care to lost or homeless animals.

Our goal is to care for stray animals humanely and either give them back to their owners or find them new, devoted homes. Additionally, we'll inform the public about the value of spaying and neutering pets and responsible pet ownership.

We transform lives at PALS, a no-kill animal sanctuary located just south of Grinnell, Iowa. We give abandoned cats and dogs a somewhere to stay and veterinary treatment, and we place them with people and families who will enjoy their company, spontaneity, and delight.

The League for Animal Rescue in Jasper County & Humane Society is a no-kill facility dedicated to saving animals and giving all animals in Jasper County a secure haven.

Whether due to a need for medical care, behavioral issues, or emotional trauma, Paws-N-Claws Iowa works to provide opportunities for those animals. We view each animal as an individual and treat them as such.

The goal of Noah's Ark Animal Foundation, a no-kill shelter, is to rescue, safeguard, and place stray and abandoned dogs and cats in loving homes.
