The Connecticut Humane Society is the top resource in the state for the welfare of companion animals, enhancing the lives of families and communities via adoption programs, healthcare, awareness campaigns, and cruelty prevention.

Our goal is to assist shelters and rescues in finding homes for these dogs. We hold adoption fairs, perform neutering and spaying on dogs in shelters, and provide financial support for the rescue's medical expenses.

Petfinder.com, a website that raises public awareness of the availability of adoptable pets, is affiliated with Montville Animal Control, which is dedicated to finding homes for unwanted and abandoned dogs.
