North Kingstown Animal Shelter

The division's objective is to ensure that all pet owners adhere to local and state rules. The Animal Control Division is staffed by a warden and an assistant.

The North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League (NKEAPL), which was established and incorporated in 1968, runs the no-kill Pet Refuge. We added "Exeter" to our name in 1976. We are a private, nonprofit organization that relies on ongoing fundraising activities (such bazaars and tag sales) and the contributions of friends, members, business owners, and community leaders in the form of time, money, and resources.

There are no same-day adoptions at the Exeter Animal Shelter. There is a charge associated with adoption, but it's worth it for a lifetime of happiness.

The South Kingstown Animal Shelter, which was established in 1980 and serves both South Kingstown and Narragansett, welcomes dogs, cats, and other domestic animals who have been neglected, abandoned, or stray.

Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) is committed to the humane welfare of stray animals and the rescue of companion animals in need.

The Potter League for Animals is the go-to animal care and resource center in Rhode Island, where we offer shelter, medical attention, behavior training, spaying and neutering, owner assistance programs, humane education, and the chance for thousands of animals to find loving homes every year.
