Exeter Animal Shelter

Help guarantee that each dog or cat brought into the North Kingstown Animal Shelter receives the proper medical care, immunizations, and spaying or neutering before adoption.

The division's objective is to ensure that all pet owners adhere to local and state rules. The Animal Control Division is staffed by a warden and an assistant.

The North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League (NKEAPL), which was established and incorporated in 1968, runs the no-kill Pet Refuge. We added "Exeter" to our name in 1976. We are a private, nonprofit organization that relies on ongoing fundraising activities (such bazaars and tag sales) and the contributions of friends, members, business owners, and community leaders in the form of time, money, and resources.

The South Kingstown Animal Shelter, which was established in 1980 and serves both South Kingstown and Narragansett, welcomes dogs, cats, and other domestic animals who have been neglected, abandoned, or stray.

Animal Rescue Rhode Island (ARRI) is committed to the humane welfare of stray animals and the rescue of companion animals in need.
