The Massachusetts Southcoast is served by the no-kill, 501c3 organization known as CARE Southcoast. While cats can be seen in our shelter in Acushnet, Massachusetts, where we also house the majority of kittens and some special needs cats, all of our dogs are in foster care. Our efforts are concentrated on animals that wouldn't fare well in conventional shelters.
