The Animal Rescue League is devoted to keeping animals in need safe and healthy in habitats and homes and is an uncompromising advocate for those in need.

Our leadership provides decades of combined experience in animal welfare and rescue to our 501(c)3 all-volunteer organization.

An all-volunteer, nonprofit group called Habitat for Cats specializes in trap-neuter-return of stray and abandoned cats.

Our goal is to stop the mistreatment of West Highland White Terriers. We offer medical care, rehabilitation, and rescue services.

The Massachusetts Southcoast is served by the no-kill, 501c3 organization known as CARE Southcoast. While cats can be seen in our shelter in Acushnet, Massachusetts, where we also house the majority of kittens and some special needs cats, all of our dogs are in foster care. Our efforts are concentrated on animals that wouldn't fare well in conventional shelters. Our aim also includes training dogs with behavioral issues, trap-neuter-release (TNR) of feral cats, and preventing the rehoming of owned animals through education.

By helping them when they are homeless, in danger, or simply need assistance, Forever Paws Animal Shelter provides animals a new lease on life. We serve as the contracted shelter for the municipalities of Fall River, New Bedford, and Westport. All the stray animals in these locations, as well as pets who have been turned in by their owners, are housed and cared for by us. Our goal is to rehome animals in a way that is morally right and advantageous to both the general welfare of the animal and our neighborhood.
