Nash County Animal Shelter

A non-profit no-kill group called For the Love of Dogs, Inc. is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to treating dogs with compassion. Dogs extend our lives, enhance our quality of life, and reduce stress and blood pressure.

In the fall of 2006, SandHill Beagles Rescue began operations. The rescue is a North Carolina non-profit as well as a federal 501(c)(3) organization. The rescue's goals are to treat animals humanely and assist in finding them homes that are secure and caring.

To end the problem of homeless animals in the counties of Franklin, Northern Wake, Southern Granville, Vance, and adjacent areas.
