Living Free Animal Sanctuary

The goal of ARF is to save animals whose owners are no longer able to care for them, have lost them, or have abandoned them. Up until forever homes are found, we offer foster care. Our animals are spayed or neutered, given the required vaccinations, and receive other veterinary care as required.

The only public shelter in the Coachella Valley that adheres to the no-kill concept is Palm Springs Animal Shelter. Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, a 501(c)(3) organization (TAX ID 33-0731853) committed to responsible pet stewardship and the humane treatment of animals, manages and runs our facility.
