Happy Endings is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) no-kill organization that has been rescuing lives since 1994 and is run entirely by volunteers. Happy Endings' goal is to place unwanted, abused, abandoned, or feral animals that are brought to us or picked up off the street in long-term homes.

To offer animal control and care services that safeguard Milwaukee County residents' health, public safety, and welfare.

Early in 2021, volunteers created the nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization known as Almost Home Cat Rescue MKE. Our aim is to provide a safe refuge for every cat in our care until their forever home is found, as well as to serve as a resource for the neighborhood's cats and those who care for them.

The Wisconsin Humane Society is dedicated to giving wild and abandoned animals shelter, care, and protection.

Our non-profit organization runs on a foster and volunteer basis with an emphasis on dogs who are at risk of being put down due to being housed in high-kill shelters, overcrowding, abuse and neglect, or owner surrender.
