Medicine Lodge Animal Control

In 2001, the Kingman County Humane Society was founded in Kingman, Kansas. It is run by volunteers who are committed to helping the animals in their care find long-term, devoted homes.

We provide animal control services to the City of Hutchinson and manage a full-service animal shelter for the city's stray animals.

A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization called The Wellington Humane Society Serving Sumner County, Kansas, is committed to rescuing, caring for, and placing stray dogs and cats in loving, responsible forever homes.

The goal of Pawnee County Humane Society, Inc. is to stop the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in Pawnee County, Kansas by raising public awareness, educating the public, and encouraging responsible pet ownership.

The majority of the dogs we take in are small breed seniors, disabled, and otherwise unadoptable canines. We get them as healthy as we can, train them, and place them in suitable families for adoption.
