Three services are available to pet owners through our entirely volunteer organization. Our referral program comes first, followed by our pet pantry and education.

Programs and services are offered by Our Companions Animal Rescue to benefit both people and animals in the neighborhood.

Through our three divisions, Pack Leaders Rescue of CT, every day we save the lives of animals.

Innocent dogs that have been abandoned, mistreated, or ejected from their homes must be saved, given top-notch medical attention, and given a second chance at life. This is the goal of Sarah's Second Chance Dog Rescue.

As a nonprofit 501(c)3 animal shelter and rescue, we do not kill animals. In order to save stray, neglected, and abused animals, POA was established in 1975.

Our non-profit, all-volunteer organization's goal is to improve the standard of living for all dogs and cats in the areas we serve.
