Another Chance Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, foster-based organization in Southern Maine that is totally staffed by volunteers. They have been helping furry friends in Maine, New Hampshire, and the Southern United States since 2004.

We are a modest New England organization that collaborates with reputable southern rescue organizations to preserve incredible dogs of various breeds, sizes, sexes, and ages.

Maine Friends of Animals is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that advocates for the humane treatment of all animals via legislation, advocacy, and education. Since 1997, MFOA has been Maine's premier voice for animal protection, fighting nonstop to put an end to animal cruelty throughout the state.

Through humane catching, neutering, and release back to their colony sites, we want to minimize the number of feral cats in our neighborhoods (a method called Trap-Neuter-Return or TNR). Because of a lack of reproduction, the populations of the colonies eventually decline.
