Logan County Animal Control

In Logan County, Illinois, there is a shelter for stray animals called the Humane Society of Logan County. The HSLC began operating as a foster-based shelter and was incorporated as a not-for-profit (501c3) corporation in April 2006.

We rescue dogs from high-kill shelters, restore their health, and then place them in fantastic homes. We are close to Lincoln and Springfield and situated just south of Bloomington.

ALWAYS DEVOTED TO EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY, FOR THE VOICELESS, OUR MISSION IS TO FIND LOVING HOMES FOR OUR SHELTER ANIMALS.

Our pets have undergone sterilization and deworming procedures. All pets are sent to their owners microchipped and prepared for rabies tag registration with the county.

Through rabies vaccination registration and bite investigations, McLean County Animal Control aims to prevent and control the disease and advance and safeguard public animal safety.

The Animal Protective League is a nonprofit 501C(3) organization whose mission is to provide care for sick, injured, and abandoned animals while also facilitating their adoption by responsible pet owners.
