Fairfield Area Humane Society

We are dedicated to serving and safeguarding Fairfield County at the Fairfield County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center. We aim for a setting that encourages our pursuit of continual improvement and a high standard of excellence.

GAP is a foster care organization that works throughout central Ohio. We have a strong commitment to saving animals and providing them FURever homes.

We take great pride in having a positive influence on more than 6,000 shelter dogs annually by offering rural, homeless canines veterinary care, high-quality temporary housing, and adoption services at our welcoming shelter.

The sole source of funding for A Little Patch of Heaven Animal Rescue, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is contributions. All financial and in-kind donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

As required by Chapter 955 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Pickaway County Canine Shelter is a county-owned and -operated dog shelter.

Rescue and rehoming of companion animals is our mission. Spaying and neutering helps to minimize animal overpopulation and euthanasia rates for companion animals.
