Our goal is to place the animals that have been confiscated by the Humane Society or given to us by the courts as a result of cruelty, abuse, or neglect in loving homes.

GAP is a foster care organization that works throughout central Ohio. We have a strong commitment to saving animals and providing them FURever homes.

Rescue and rehoming of companion animals is our mission. Spaying and neutering helps to minimize animal overpopulation and euthanasia rates for companion animals.

Since our foundation in 1912, the Ross County Humane Society has been committed to the general welfare, shelter and placement of animals, prevention of cruelty and over population, and education concerning humane treatment of all living creatures.
