Humane Society

Through animal rescue, we hope to establish a world where people and animals can live in harmony adoption and ethical instruction.

In 1999, the initial Green Hills Animal Shelter Committee was established. By the year 2000, the organization had developed into a 12-member Board of Directors and had become a federal non-profit corporation. The time since then has been active. Building plans and designs for a new building were made, grants were written, and money was gathered.

Our main objective is to place abandoned dogs in loving families and to provide them with the finest care while they are in our care.

Dogs, cats, and other domestic animals are helped find homes by the Chillicothe Animal Shelter in Chillicothe, Missouri.

The Northeast Missouri Humane Society works to provide animals with a lifetime of devoted care. Here at the Northeast Missouri Humane Society, we're dedicated to contributing our knowledge and resources to promote our cause.
