Chillicothe Animal Shelter

In 1999, the initial Green Hills Animal Shelter Committee was established. By the year 2000, the organization had developed into a 12-member Board of Directors and had become a federal non-profit corporation. The time since then has been active. Building plans and designs for a new building were made, grants were written, and money was gathered.

Through animal rescue, we hope to establish a world where people and animals can live in harmony adoption and ethical instruction.

In our neighborhood, we accept homeless cats and kittens. We are happy to travel to you to collect stray or wounded kittens if a team member is available.

Public safety is the top priority for animal control. This is accomplished by corralling stray animals in the City.

The Humane Society of Ray County is a nonprofit, independent animal sanctuary that aids homeless dogs and cats. The Ray County government is not associated with us.
