The Jackson-Teton County Animal Shelter cares for lost and abandoned pets humanely and helps them find new homes. The Shelter helps the community by informing the public about ethical pet ownership and enforcing animal laws, such as those requiring licenses.

The services for rabies control include coordinating rabies vaccination clinics for animals across Madison County and enforcing Tennessee anti-rabies legislation pertaining to small animal management.

We are a municipal shelter with managed intake that collaborates with Animal Control to make Jackson a great environment for both people and their pets. We do not put animals to death because "their time is done" or due to lack of space, but we rely largely on the support of the local community and our rescue partners to make this mission attainable.

We offer affordable, high-quality flea and tick prevention products for dogs and cats. We also assist organizations throughout Ohio, Florida, and the rest of the nation with the rehoming of animals in need.
