In July 2007, Charlie's Place began accepting customers. Since then, hundreds of abandoned animals have found new homes, and Helen's dream for the shelter has not changed.

We are a group of devoted volunteers that do everything in our power to meet the needs of the animals at Charlie's Place and to support local companion animals and their owners when we can.

Stray, abandoned, or surrendered Labrador Retrievers to be rescued, given high-quality compassionate care, and successfully rehomed with a focus on those in Colorado.

Our mission is to improve the lives of both people and animals.

The mission of CFFR is to transform lives and significantly improve the welfare of kittens and cats in Colorado and the neighboring states.

The non-profit 501(c)(3) organization Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR), with a base at Phoebe's Place in Arvada, Colorado, assists in the rescue-rehab and placement of unwanted, abandoned, or surrendered Golden Retrievers into devoted forever homes.
