Friends of Charlie's Place

In July 2007, Charlie's Place began accepting customers. Since then, hundreds of abandoned animals have found new homes, and Helen's dream for the shelter has not changed.

The shelter provides dog licenses, microchipping, spay/neuter vouchers for both cats and dogs, and surrender and adoption services to the general public.

Stray, abandoned, or surrendered Labrador Retrievers to be rescued, given high-quality compassionate care, and successfully rehomed with a focus on those in Colorado.

The Intermountain Humane Society is dedicated to serving the intermountain community by offering socially responsible animal sheltering, animal welfare education, and advocacy. It also strives to be the area's top source for information on animal welfare, working to enhance the quality of life for both people and their pets. ​
