In Columbia County, Ella Merle and her daughter Dede Kline took up the lofty mission of rescuing animals that had gotten lost in society in 1955. One little structure with five dog kennels has grown into a multifaceted animal welfare organization today that can house up to sixty dogs and one hundred cats because to their dedication and tireless work.
